North Staffordshire Landlord and Tenant Survey

Thank you to all those landlords and tenants who returned the postal questionnaire. There was a very good response rate and the data will be of great use in evaluating the impact of the North Staffordshire Landlord Accreditation Scheme and planning for its future. The findings of the postal survey will be made available in CRESRs final report (due at the end of February 2010) and in the Landlord Accreditation Scheme Newsletter.

The prize draw has now been carried out. Congratulations to Accreditation Scheme member Mr Delvin Ravald who receives a £100 B&Q voucher, and to Ms Joanne Gillies, a private tenant in Stoke on Trent, who receives a £100 High Street Shopping Voucher.

The Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) at Sheffield Hallam University has been appointed to evaluate the North Staffordshire Landlord Accreditation Scheme. This independent evaluation will review the impact of the scheme and explore ways in which it can be improved for the benefit of landlords, tenants and the local authorities.
