BBC want to hear from landlords

posted: 19/12/2007

The BBC are looking at doing a story about cannabis factories for the West Midlands BBC1 programme Inside Out.

The film will look at the problem of landlords renting their properties to private tenants who convert them into a cannabis factory, growing hundreds of plants in every room. It will explore the fact that landlords are often left with ruined houses, which must be renovated at great expense. It will also draw on landlords experiences of this issue and the warning signs to look for.

If any landlords in the West Midlands have experienced this and are willing to speak to the documentary makers they can contact Susie Hall, Reseracher for Inside Out West Midlands on susie.hall@bbc.co.uk or 0121 567 6184.
